Diving

The diving at Kamchatka is special. Difficult conditions of the diving (thermocline layers, cold water, low visibility, tidal currents) are combined with unique beauty and great variety of the sea world. Over a hundred of the algae, lots and lots of the  sea flowers, sea-cucumbers, pearlworts, ascidium, sea sponges and coral are hidden in ocean water and they are of amazing bright yellow, orange, pink, red and pure white colour. Infinite set of the crabs, hermit crabs, shrimp, clams, sea urchins, fish and stars live there. On top of that divers can unexpectedly meet sea lions, octopus, whales, porpoises, sea otters, seals and birds and these meetings add to impressions, that are got from the undersea landscape, some adrenaline.

You can see this unique amazing animal and vegetal life of the undersea near Kamchatka from May to October, because the diving season is opened just at this time. You should remember that welcome opportunity for diving here is from May to June because frequent storms and water blooming begin after that time. And water blooming significantly diminished the visibility of the water. Terms :

The temperature of water varies from 14 to -2 C° according to season and depth. Visibility depends on depth of the dive, season and weather conditions. The temperature grows under the thermocline layer (layer of temperature step). Near the parts of the cape Mayachniy the visibility of the water is 10-15 m at summer time and its mid-point is 6-10 m.

Equipment guidance:

 Dry suit (from 5 mm), wet suit (from 7 mm), YOKE Regulators (for winter), extra second stage is not less than 1 for a pair, scuba diving knife.
